Tujummitlanak / Welcome
As an Inuk leader driven by purpose, I am dedicated to connecting people across cultures and bridging gaps in understanding and communication. My work centers on building capacity and nurturing Indigenous leadership. I offer educational presentations, dynamic speaking engagements, and custom course development services. My mission is to empower individuals and communities through knowledge and cultural insights, ensuring that Indigenous voices are heard, valued, and elevated.

Additionally, I provide education and guidance to non-Indigenous organizations that seek to develop stronger, more respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities. Through cultural training, speaking engagements, and tailored learning programs, I help foster understanding, encourage meaningful collaboration, and uphold the importance of Indigenous voices being heard, respected, and uplifted.
About Jason
I am an Inuk expedition leader and educator from Nunatsiavut, committed to connecting people with land, culture, and community. Raised in northern Labrador, I bring firsthand knowledge of remote environments and Inuit perspectives. My work focuses on reconciliation, empowerment, and the power of shared learning.
My approach emphasizes accountability, clear communication, ongoing growth, and effective teamwork. My goal is to ensure Inuit shape our own narrative and create space for voices that are often overlooked.
My work has been recognized by Parks Canada, the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and The Explorers Club—but true impact is found in the respect, understanding, and lasting connections built between people and place. It’s these meaningful relationships that guide my work and inspire me to keep building bridges of understanding across cultures and communities.
